Our statuary aims are: - To breed and/or train dogs, in a process of selection and study (carried out by trained professionals who are qualified for that purpose, training them as assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, signal dogs for medical alert and autism) with the aim of being given to the visually, physically, and auditory impaired as well as those with other illnesses or with autistic spectrum disorder (according to the law 19/2009 of the 26th November, it establishes the access to an environment where people are accompanied by assistance dogs) which can see an improvement in their quality of life.
- To carry out programs of intervention and or assisted interaction with animals (whether they be dogs or other animals which are prepared for such a purpose), organised by those specialised in this area, who manage the collective of the social sector (for people with disabilities, psychological disorders, at risk of social exclusion, people of old age, children, amongst others).
- To fight for accessibility for disabled people, such as the accessibility of assistance dogs and their users, carrying out programs of awareness directed at the general population, and taking into account the current regulations at all times (both the well-being of the animal and the environment).
- To form part of associations and/or federations, both national and international, in order to promote and supervise adequate work standards and procedures both in the assistance dog´s environment and in the assisted intervention and/or interaction with animals, to ensure the correct functioning and development of these sorts of activities.
- To carry out studies and investigation projects on assisted intervention with animals, so that the benefits are made known which the user assumes in carrying out these sorts of activities, through seminars, workshops, scientific events, publication of articles and distribution of them on the association´s web page, so that they are accessible to everyone.
