BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Being a volunteer of the "Associació d'Acció Social DISCAN", involves volunteering for an entity which is engaged with society, with vulnerable groups and with animals and the environment.

In Catalonia, more than 200,000 people work as volunteers in different organisations of social, cultural, juvenile and sporting nature.
Non-profit associations live and grow thanks to those people who contribute their time and their knowledge in an altruistic way, to the development of society.

At AAS DISCAN, the role of the volunteer is very important and it forms part of the team, whether it be the program for training assistance dogs, in the programs of intervention with animals, or in management and communication tasks for the association, always advised by the professionals who work in the field.

For this, each volunteer in our association has annual insurance for any of the activities that are carried out.

If you think that you can help us in any of these areas, please get in contact with us. Experience is not necessary, seeing as we train you in what you find the most interesting. You only need to have a bit of time and a desire to learn.

Furthermore, you can help us for just one hour a week.
